Scale // Agency partners

You manage the merchants.
Command the portfolio.

For Shopify agencies, freelancers and in-house teams running stores they do not own. Audit any client or prospect store today with the free scan. The multi-store command layer is being built on one rule: access comes from the merchant, never from the agency.

01 // Brief

Who this is for.
Straight answers.

The agency lane in five definitions: what it is, what works today, and what is still being built.

What is a Rank Sniper agency partner?
An agency, freelancer or in-house team that operates Shopify stores on behalf of the people who own them. The relationship is “I manage this merchant”: you work on a client’s store with the owner’s explicit authorisation, and the store stays theirs.
Who is it for?
Shopify agencies carrying a book of client stores; freelance Shopify developers and SEO consultants; in-house teams running several brands, markets or expansion stores as separate Shopify storefronts.
What can an agency use today?
The public free scan Available. Point it at any Shopify storefront, whether a client’s, a prospect’s or a competitor’s, and get a composite score and four pillar scores without an install or a client login.
Is the agency workspace live?
Not yet. The multi-store portfolio view is In development. Organisations and team permissions Planned, client reporting Planned and white-label reports Planned are not built. Every capability on this page carries its real state.
Does agency status create referral commission?
Agency status does not create referral commissions. Agencies that also want to promote Rank Sniper may separately apply to the affiliate programme; affiliate attribution and commissions are governed independently from agency client access. Applications are reviewed, and approval is not automatic.
02 // The problem

Every client store
drifts on its own.

A portfolio of Shopify stores does not lose visibility all at once. It leaks store by store, in places nobody on the account is watching.

A theme update drops the product structured data on one client. An app installed for a promotion injects a second, conflicting Product schema on another. Someone tightens robots.txt on a third and blocks the AI crawlers along with the scrapers they meant to stop. A bulk import on a fourth leaves hundreds of variants without a SKU. None of it throws an error in the Shopify admin, and none of it shows in a monthly traffic report until the damage is weeks old.

Search engines, answer engines, generative engines and shopping agents each read a store differently, so a client can look healthy in a rank tracker and still be missing from the answers AI systems give. An agency managing twenty stores needs to know which store, which pillar and which fix, not one blended number and not twenty separate logins to find out.

That is what the agency lane is for. Where Rank Sniper can see it today, it shows you. Where it can’t yet, this page tells you.

03 // Recon — available now

Audit any store.
No install required.

The free scan reads a storefront from the outside, the way a crawler or an agent does. So it works on stores you have no access to yet, which is most of a sales pipeline.

REC-01Available

Prospect audits

Scan a prospect before the first call and walk in with a composite score and four pillar scores for their actual store, not a generic deck.

REC-02Available

AI-crawler policy

See which AI crawlers a client’s robots.txt allows or blocks (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended). That one setting can remove a store from generative answers outright.

REC-03Beta

Full report by email

The complete scan report arrives through an emailed sign-in link. It is in beta: end-to-end link redemption is still being verified.

04 // Portfolio command

The command layer.
Labelled as it stands.

What the agency surface is being built to do, and the state each part is in today. Nothing here is sold as working before it works.

AGY-01In development

Multi-store portfolio

Every store you are authorised on, side by side: composite and pillar scores, catalogue size and last scan, so client health reads at a glance. A read-only roll-up exists in the dashboard, but no production path grants the store access it relies on, and the dashboard shows seed data until app ingestion lands.

AGY-02In development

Store intelligence

Client stores measured on live data from the Shopify app, not public pages alone. This depends on the path from the app into the Command Center, which is still being built.

AGY-03Planned

Cross-client monitoring

Recurring re-scans across the portfolio, drift detection when a theme or app change breaks a client, and alerts before the client notices.

AGY-04Planned

Client reporting

Per-client reports and exports built from the same scores you see. The monthly client conversation, backed by the record.

AGY-05Planned

White-label reports

Client reports under your agency’s own mark. Not built yet, and it will not be sold until it is.

AGY-06Planned

Team and permissions

Agency organisations, team members and per-client permissions, so each operator sees the stores they are assigned and nothing else.

05 // Access model

You operate the store.
The merchant owns it.

Agency access is designed around five objects. Each is planned; together they make access explicit, scoped and revocable.

  1. ORG-01

    Organisation

Your agency as its own entity in Rank Sniper, not a merchant account with extra stores bolted on.

    Planned
  2. ORG-02

    Members

The people on your team, each a member of the organisation with their own sign-in. When someone leaves, their access leaves with their membership.

    Planned
  3. ORG-03

    Client relationship

An explicit link between your organisation and a merchant, “I manage this merchant”, which the merchant has agreed to.

    Planned
  4. ORG-04

    Store access grant

Given per store, authorised by the merchant and revocable by them. No grant, no access, whatever the relationship says.

    Planned
  5. ORG-05

    Permissions and scopes

What each member can see and do on each granted store. The exact scopes will be published before the feature ships.

    Planned
07 // Agency ≠ affiliate

Managing is not referring.
Two programmes.

Agency status does not create referral commissions. Agencies that also want to promote Rank Sniper may separately apply to the affiliate programme; affiliate attribution and commissions are governed independently from agency client access.

Doing both takes two separate enrolments and two identities. Permissions and attribution never merge.

Bring us your book.
See the gaps first.

Tell us how many Shopify stores you manage and what you report to clients today. The enquiry is tagged Agency and read by a person.

There is no agency price on this page because there is no agency price yet. The agency tier is contact-only, and published pricing says the same. The fastest way to make the conversation specific is to scan two or three client stores first and send the results with your enquiry.
